Fixed-price packages.

Most firms know AI is coming and worry about getting it wrong against their SRA duties. Each package answers one question a firm actually asks, at a price agreed in writing before you instruct us, so you can act without signing up to open-ended fees.

The work is led by Saqib Khan, whose background is in law and legal technology. It starts from your duties as a regulated practice rather than from the technology, so every recommendation is one you can put in front of the SRA, a client or an insurer.

Beyond the packages

When a firm needs more than a single piece of work, we run a full bespoke advisory engagement, taking you from diagnostic through strategy to implementation over eight to twelve weeks.

For continuing support, a fractional Chief AI Officer retainer gives you senior AI leadership a set number of days a month, without the cost of a full-time hire. The retainer is built on a day rate of £1,800, so one day a month is £1,800, two days a month £3,600 and three days a month £5,400, all plus VAT. The term is a minimum of three months, fixed in writing before any work begins.

How we work

Clear steps, a fee agreed in writing, and a record you keep.

When you get in touch we reply within one working day and arrange a short call to understand your firm and the question in front of it. There is no charge for that conversation and no obligation to go further.

We then confirm the scope and a fixed fee in writing before any work starts, so you know the cost and the deliverable from the outset. Travel, where it applies, is charged at cost and agreed in advance.

You receive a written deliverable and a debrief, set out in plain terms your team can act on. What we recommend is yours to keep, whether or not you instruct us again, and every recommendation leaves a clear trail you can show a regulator, a client or an insurer.

Common questions

The points firms raise before they get in touch.

Is this worthwhile for a firm our size?

The packages are built for small and mid-sized practices, not for large firms with their own technology teams. The Readiness Audit is the usual starting point precisely because it tells you whether AI is worth your time and money before you commit to anything larger.

Will our client data be safe?

Confidentiality sits at the centre of every engagement. We work from your duties as a regulated practice, we do not put client data into tools that fail UK rules, and we show you how to keep client information inside the firm and prove that you did.

Will this disrupt our fee earners?

No. The audit and the compliance check run mostly on our side, with short input from your team. The workshops are half a day or a day, arranged around your diary, and they leave your people clearer about what they can and cannot do rather than slower.

Do we have to commit to a large project?

Each package stands on its own, so you take only what your firm needs. Many firms start with a single piece of work, see the value, then decide whether a longer engagement or a retainer makes sense.
